I'm Noemi. I run a 7-figure water filtration company that serves NASA, SpaceX, and the U.S. Navy. I write about what it actually takes to leave the safe career and build something of your own.
I moved to the U.S. from Hungary at seventeen, didn't speak the language, and was told to pick a safe career. I picked the opposite.
In 2012, I started a water filtration company out of a garage. Today, AquaQuote serves NASA, SpaceX, P&G, the VA, and the U.S. Navy. We did seven figures last year. I run it without me — it runs while I sleep.
Along the way I raised investor capital for a software startup that didn't work. I shut it down. I learned more from that failure than from anything else I've done.
Now I write and speak about what becoming a founder actually looks like — the boring parts, the embarrassing parts, the part where you cry in the airport and then keep going. The business doesn't change first. You do.
