5 years ago, I'm at my first pitch competition and an investor asks: "What is your business?"
My brain freezes.
Then for the next five painful minutes, I ramble about features and technical details while he zones out and then moves on to other founders. (who can explain what they do in one sentence)
That moment taught me this:
If you can't clearly explain how you help people, you'll struggle to get customers, investors, or anyone to care.
